Dr. Soroush Liaghat,

Dr. Soroush Liaghat grew up in Vancouver, where he pursued his Bachelor’s of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. During his studies, Dr. Liaghat has been recognized for his demonstration of leadership, professionalism and academic standing at UBC and has served as a Senator at the UBC Senate.
Dr. Liaghat is a firm believer in treating patients like family, and his calm demeanour makes his patients feel relaxed and welcome. Dr. Liaghat provides care in various aspects of general dentistry, such as root canals, fillings, extractions, Invisalign, crowns and bridges. His compassionate personality allows him to build long-lasting relationships and makes dental visits easy and comfortable for all his patients.
Dr. Niknaz Malekafzali, DMD
General and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Niki is a compassionate dentist dedicated to improving oral health and transforming smiles. She builds strong relationships with her patients to ensure that every treatment plan is personalized to their needs.
Dr. Niki grew up in North Vancouver and completed her Bachelor’s of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. Throughout dental school, she was recognized for her excellence in leadership and academic standing, receiving numerous awards. She understands the importance of ongoing education and strives to continuously expand her knowledge and skills.
Dr. Niki is accepting new patients and will be collaborating with Dr. Liaghat in providing the best possible care to our patients in Maple Ridge.
Dr. Niloufar Koohestanian, DDS, DMD
General and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Niloufar Koohestanian graduated among the top five of her class from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 2012, later expanding her expertise through research at Harvard Medical School and advanced training in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry at UCLA.
In 2023, Dr. Koohestanian earned her second DMD from McGill University, where she graduated at the top of her class, receiving multiple awards for clinical excellence. She is now a part-time faculty member and clinical instructor at UBC’s School of Dentistry, bringing over a decade of experience across private and community dental practices.
Dr. Nilou’s approach to care focuses on tailored treatment plans for each patient. Her expertise is a valuable addition to our dental office.

Dr. Chung Lui, DDS
General and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Chung Lui received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco in 2000. For the past 16 years, he has been providing all aspects of family dentistry in Mission, BC before joining the team at Dentistry Thirty Two. Dr. Lui is an educator at heart and believes in educating his patients in oral health care and treatment options.
Dr. Lui also enjoys teaching as a clinical instructor at the faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia since 2012. With his vast experience and hundreds of hours of continuing education studies Dr. Lui provides dental implant, gum surgery, root canals, crown and bridge treatments to his patients. Dr. Lui has also received his Mastership in Dental Implantology from The International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Gurpreet Surdhar, DDS
General and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Gurpreet Surdhar received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco in 2000. After moving to the Lower Mainland, Dr. Surdhar started her family and general practice in Mission. With 16 years of experience in the field of dentistry and a high level of technical skills, Dr. Surdhar provides comprehensive dental treatments to her patients in the form of fillings, crowns, bridge and root canal treatments.
Dr. Surdhar’s number one priority for her patients is to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment to ensure her patients have a stress-free visit with the utmost comfort, time and time again. Dr. Surdhar’s philosophy is that communication between doctor and patient is the key to success of treatment and patient comfort.
